How do I choose a study program in Denmark?

The best way to find the right study program for you in Denmark is to go to the official government website for studies in Denmark: www.studyindenmark.dk. Here you can find relevant study programs, information on admission requirements, how to apply, and much more.

I want to take a full degree in Denmark. When and how should I apply?

For undergraduate studies, the application deadline is March 15 for courses starting in August or September. Find the application form and information on how to apply here: www.optagelse.dk/admission/index.html. Application deadlines for graduate programs varies, please check with the Danish universities. You also want to check with your home university to see if they have any exchange agreements with universities in Denmark.

Do I have to pay tuition fees?

Yes, all non-EU/EEA/Switzerland students must pay tuition fees (Fulbright grantees are the only students exempt from this rule). The annual tuition fees for full degree students range from USD 8,000-21,000.00.

How long is a Danish undergraduate degree?

There are different kinds of undergraduate degrees in Denmark: A Danish university bachelor’s degree is 3 years; a professional bachelor’s degree is 3 to 4 years; bachelor degrees in architecture, design, music and fine and performing arts are 3 to 4 years; and an academy profession degree (AP degree) is 2 years. How long is a Danish graduate degree?
